Last Friday, as ArenaNet’s hints about November 15th’s big update circled the Guild Wars 2 community, one other foretelling hint appeared in the actual game– posters advertising a sea-faring adventure complete with lush tropical waters, majestic adventures, and plenty of fun pirate puns. While in game, the posters appeared pretty blurry to read, considering they were written in New Krytan, but ArenaNet decided to help players who love a little speculation along and posted both halves of the poster in a larger format over Facebook and Twitter.
The fun part? Both social media platforms had a half of the poster. When the left half and right half were placed together, it became fairly easy for players to translate:
“Avast! Ahoy all ye landlubbers!
The hardworking members of the consortium are proud to announce the upcoming unveiling of your dream vacation! Coming soon we will open the gate– the asura gate– connecting Lion’s Arch to a veritable tropical paradise of magnificent proportions!
Swim in the radiant waters!*
Relax on the beach!*
Dance the night away!*
Prepare to hoist your jolly roger and to embark on a most majestic adventure with your favorite band of salty dogs!
Arr you ready?

Yep– definitely a hint about The Lost Shores content update! That disclosure statement alone makes me eager to see what ArenaNet has in store for us.
